So this was dinner. That's fried chicken, and the chicken was breathing a few hours before the picture. The veggies there is a sort of shredded carrot, but the carrots were picked while they were still pretty young so it's more carrot greens and some carrot. The lime looking thing is actually an orange, and the mango is the best mango I've ever had. And then some friend potatoes that are pretty similar to steak cut french fries. Thing is, this doesn't look like much (and it isn't, by most standards) but these kinds of meals are essentially the equivalent of our Thanksgiving Dinner. And we ate it every meal. Like kings and queens.
