The residential part of Kisumu, which is the third largest city in Kenya. It's also the closest city to the village where we were. The unfinished buildings are VERY common, mostly as a result of the global economic downturn back in 2006-2008. Most of Kenya never recovered, and the building projects were largely abandoned.
